DeVon Smith: 1926-2003
· He lived in a little shack in western Pennsylvania where he built robots out of scrap
· Years ago, he was in the Guinness Book of World Records for most miles hitchhiked (200,000)
· He was an artist, a goodwill ambassador, and a perpertrator of impossible things
· He died Saturday, May 31 at his home of an apparent heart attack. He was 77.
· You should read his book. It will amuse and inspire you endlessly.
